CGG has secured three major seismic imaging projects from BP, two for the deepwater Gulf of Mexico, and one for offshore Trinidad & Tobago. CGG is to use its CGG Cloud supercomputing technology for seismic imaging with its Geovation software.

Elsevier has announced the integration of MapStand data layers and news into Geofacets, its information solution for geoscience professionals in oil and gas, mining and renewable energy companies.

The scope is expected to require about 100 man-years in Norway.
