Aker Solutions has completed its merger with Kvaerner. The refocused combination offers solutions to reduce emissions from oil and gas installations and for the delivery of renewable energy production facilities.

AqualisBraemar is to acquire 100% of the shares in LOC Group, a specialist in oil and gas loss prevention and management services, and a marine and engineering consultancy.

Aucerna has acquired Previso Software, an integrated production modeling software boutique provider of compositional gas modeling.

Baker Hughes has acquired Compact Carbon Capture, a provider of carbon capture with a ‘rotating bed’ technology.

Caterpillar is to acquire Weir Group’s Oil & Gas Division in an all cash $405 million transaction. Weir provides pressure pumping, pressure control and aftermarket services to upstream oil and gas customers.

Following the early settlement in full of all its creditors, the Commercial Court of Paris has acknowledged completion of CGG’s safeguard plan. This ruling puts a ‘definitive end’ to CGG’s financial restructuring process that began in 2017.

Dassault Systèmes, with a current 16% interest, is acquiring the remainder of NuoDB equity. NuoDB provides a cloud-native, distributed SQL database.

Dresser Natural Gas Solutions has acquired Flow Safe, a manufacturer of spring-operated and pilot-operated high-performance pressure relief devices.

EQT has acquired a majority stake in ThinkProject from TA Associates and founder Thomas Bachmaier. ThinkProject is an EU-based provider of construction intelligence solutions for architecture, engineering, construction and owner-operators.

Genasys has completed the acquisition of Amika Mobile, a Canada-based provider of critical communications, situational awareness and emergency management products. Amika Mobile has been renamed Genasys Communications Canada.

geoLOGIC Systems has acquired SubsurfaceIO, a provider of cloud-based mapping and analytics solutions for oil and gas.

Hexagon has acquired PAS Global, a provider of operational technology integrity solutions. The acquisition is to form a new cybersecurity-focused business segment within Hexagon’s PPM division.

Lloyd’s Register has sold its Energy business unit to Inspirit Capital, creating a new standalone engineering and technical consultancy renamed Vysus Group.

Novara GeoSolutions, a provider of technology services and asset management solutions, has rebranded as CHA Integrated Solutions.

Pelican Energy Partners has completed the acquisition of Baker Hughes’ surface pressure control flow business. The new company will be renamed Vault Pressure Control.

Petrosmith has purchased Wellflex Energy Solutions, an EPC management company specialized in modular production equipment.

Quorum Software has acquired Landdox, a provider of cloud-based land management software. Landdox is to form the land management foundation of Quorum Upstream On Demand, a multi-tenant SaaS suite designed for upstream companies.
