Oslo, Norway-headquartered geochemical and biostratigraphy specialist Applied Petroleum Technology has appointed Helge Nyrønning as its CEO. Nyrønning was previously MD of First Geo (now AGR).

AqualisBraemar has ramped-up its international adjusting business with the appointment of Allan Kelly (head of Europe and West Africa), Charles Honner (Americas), Dirk Jol (Middle East and India).

Global commodity price reporting and news service Argus has appointed Neil Fleming as Senior VP, Editorial.

Tom Bradicich has been appointed to the Aspen Technology board of directors. Bradicich is currently VP, Fellow and global head of edge and IoT labs at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

Basic Energy Services has appointed Keith Schilling as president, CEO and director. Schilling hails from Baker Hughes.

BCCK Holding has appointed Greg Herman as director of business development. He was previously with Waukesha Gas Engines.

Neil Glass is now a director of the board of Borr Drilling.

BP CFO Brian Gilvary is to retire. He is succeeded by Murray Auchincloss, currently CFO of BP’s Upstream segment.

CAM Integrated Solutions has promoted Jason Newton to VP engineering operations and Israel Martinez to SVP business operations.

Polly Courtice is stepping down as director of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. The Institute is looking for a replacement.

Kirk Hanes has joined Detechtion Technologies as senior VP global sales. He was previously with Palantir Solutions.

Jack Leahy has joined the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance as membership director.

Jean Cahuzac has been elected president of French industry association Evolen, succeeding Dominique Bouvier. Cahuzac is a retiree from Subsea 7.

Christian Segersven is now head of financial services with TietoEvry. He replaces Wiljar Nesse who is to pursue new opportunities outside the company. Segersven is also head of industry software.

Amy Holmes has joined Express Energy Services as VP and general counsel. Holmes joins Express from Scientific Drilling International.

John Gibson has joined Flotek as chairman and CEO. Current chair David Nierenberg remains as independent director and CEO John Chisholm is to step down from the board. Gibson was most recently with Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. Earlier in his 35-year career he was President and CEO of Paradigm Geophysical and Landmark Graphics, as well as president of Halliburton’s Energy Services Group.

Flowserve has appointed Amy Schwetz as SVP and CFO. The company also appointed Sujeet Chand as independent director. Chand is also SVP and CTO at Rockwell Automation.

Foster Marketing has named Bradley Smith as business development coordinator. Smith is a 2019 graduate of the University of North Texas.

Following a decision to reduce Fugro’s board of management, Brice Bouffard, whose term finishes on 30 April 2020, will not be nominated for reelection.

Hexagon has made the following organizational changes: Juergen Dold, manager of Geosystems, geospatial, and safety & infrastructure; Thomas Harring, president of Geosystems; Norbert Hanke, COO; Paolo Guglielmini, president of manufacturing intelligence. Burkhard Boeckem succeeds retiree Claudio Simao as CTO of the Hexagon unit.

IFPen, the French Petroleum Institute has named Olga Vizika-Kavvadias scientific director, Benjamin Herzhaft geoscience director and Sylviane Buttafoco director of digital.

Steve Bate, EVP and CFO at ION Geophysical is to retire and step down as CFO. Bate is succeeded by Mike Morrison as EVP and interim CFO.

Noble Corporation has named Stephen Butz as EVP and CFO.

Oceaneering International has named Earl Childress to succeed retiring SVP business development Steve Barrett.

Opportune LLP, a global provider of business advisory services to the energy industry, has promoted Kent Landrum to Managing Director.

OspreyData has opened a new office in Vancouver, to serve the oil and gas community in Calgary. The company has also hired Jon Snyder as customer engagement manager for North America.

Andrew Gould, former chairman and CEO of Schlumberger, has been elected to the Occidental board of directors.

Recon Technology has elected Ralph Hornblower to its board of directors.

Koby Kendrick is assistant director at the Texas Railroad Commission’s new oil and gas field office in Lubbock, Texas.

Pamela Sabo is the new business development and sales manager with Ryder Scott. Sandeep Khurana has joined as head advisor, upstream and midstream integrated services. Khurana was previously with KBR’s Granherne unit.

Bill McDermott has decided not to renew his contract with SAP and is stepping down from his CEO position. Jennifer Morgan and Christian Klein have been appointed co-CEOs.

Horst Kayser is now chairman of the Siemens Portfolio Companies. He succeeds Jochen Eickholt, who will be a member of the future executive board of Siemens Energy, with responsibility for the power generation and oil & gas units. Michael Sen is designated CEO of Siemens Energy.

Stephane Biguet is to succeed Simon Ayat as EVP and CFO of Schlumberger who has stepped down. Ayat remains as senior strategic advisor for a two-year period.

Stratagraph has appointed William Hagan as president and CEO.

T.D. Williamson has named Jeff Wilson as VE Eastern Hemisphere and Rich Kehl, VP global engineering solutions.

ThoughtTrace has appointed energy executive Arthur Medina as VP of digital transformation.

Daniel Vertachnik is now CEO of Twenty20 Solutions. He succeeds interim CEO Peter Shaper. Vertachnik was previously COO at IQMS before its acquisition by Dassault Systèmes.

David Shaw is now chair of the XBRL Standards Board.

Martin te Lintelo succeeds Paul van Exel as chair of USPI-NL. van Exel continue with his responsibilities for ISO matters and administration. Accenture has joined USPI and the CFIHOS project as review member. The Accenture rep is Andrea Dentone.

Deaths

Weatherford International announced that William Macaulay, chairman of the company’s board of directors has died.

The PPDM Association had announced the death of Mark Priest a partner with Wipro in Houston. Data management specialist Priest held various roles with Triton Energy, Burlington Resources, Schlumberger and RasGas.

Jeff Pferd, formerly with Petris and Halliburton has died. His family invites in-remembrance donations to the ALS/Lou Gehrig association.
