Ikon Science reports the death of Mike Bacon, company’s principal geoscientist, ‘renowned writer and stylist.’

NIST has announced the death of Katharine Blodgett Gebbie, a ‘visionary physicist and senior government research administrator who supervised and mentored four Nobel laureates in physics.’

Engineer and ‘founder of the commercial reservoir simulation industry,’ Keith H. Coats died on September 13th.
