Technical Toolboxes, Energy Industry Consultants & Engineers (Eice) and EMC have jointly won a competitive bid for the definition phase of Marathon Oil’s Eagle Ford digital oilfield project. This engagement involves a review of Marathon’s current electronic production data management process, from field data collection through to the end-user. The partners are to identify opportunities for cost saving and production efficiencies in the near and longer term. Once identified, the partners will investigate the viability of implementing identified opportunities using Marathon’s existing tools, processes and staff and will help develop Marathon’s digital oil field vision for the Eagle Ford.
