Aramco Energy Ventures, Target Intervention, WoodMac, Deloitte, ISN, Virtual Stream, Divestco, Pandell, Quorum, Fielding Systems, RPS, Metier, Start Scientific, Quality Energy Solutions.

Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures has taken an equity stake in Target Intervention AS, a Norwegian downhole tool specialist developing next generation intelligent coiled tubing tool solutions. Target’s first main product is an electric isolation tool for stimulating unproductive zones.

Wood Mackenzie has purchased the Petroleum Service Group from Deloitte LLP.

ISN has acquired IT consultancy Virtual Stream to bolster its oil and gas expertise and presence with an Aberdeen-base. Virtual Stream also brings expertise in Citrix, VMware and Microsoft applications. ISN now employs 80 upstream oil and gas specialists.

Divestco has sold its Land Software assets (LandRite, iLand and MapQ) to Pandell Technology Corp. for cash which has been used to repay a $4.5 million short-term loan.

Quorum Business Solutions has acquired Fielding Systems, a provider of cloud-based data applications for the oil and gas sector.

RPS has acquired Oslo-based project management specialist Metier Holdings AS. Metier will join up with OEC Group, acquired by RPS last year.

Start Scientific has acquired Quality Energy Solutions in a paper transaction. Start is looking to raise substantial capital to expand QES through additional contracts and by acquisitions of other small service companies.
