Target Oilfield Services, Fuse IM, Aveva, 8over8, Dawson Geophysical, TGC Industries, Spectris, ESG Solutions, Superior Energy Services, Prospect Flow Solutions.

Oman-based consultant Target Oilfield Services has acquired a controlling interest in Fuse Information Management, provider of upstream workflow and information management solutions. Target is to combine its service offering with Fuse’s XStreamline workflow manager and Expedite data management solution.

Aveva has acquired 8over8 and its ProCon risk management platform for connecting owner operators and engineering companies. ProCon is used on major capital projects either deployed locally or over a private cloud.

Dawson Geophysical and TGC Industries are inviting shareholders to vote ‘yes’ to a merger proposal. A ‘definitive joint proxy statement’ has been filed with the SEC in connection with the proposed merger.

UK-based Spectris has acquired microseismic specialist ESG Solutions, developer of FracMap. ESG will integrate Spectris’ Test and Measurement segment.

Superior Energy Services has acquired Prospect Flow Solutions. Prospect will join Superior’s Wild Well Control unit. The companies are partnering on a joint industry project to develop large-scaled field testing of subsea gas releases to validate computer models and ensure safe placement of a capping stack during critical offshore operations.
