PCubed helps Chevron revamp its IT portfolio

IT function has gained credibility thanks to ‘inspirational’ change management advice.

Ann Arbor, Michigan-headquartered PCubed reports that its change management processes have led to a business transformation success in Chevron. According to PCubed, ‘two out of three major transformation initiatives are doomed to failure,’ hence the focus on mastering change.

Chevron’s Joy Patel, speaking to Amanda Akass, editor of PCubed’s Insight bulletin, said ‘Our ten year effort started with an IT transformation program to prioritize, simplify, and integrate.’ Chevron’s journey began with input from an ‘inspirational’ leader from PCubed driving the program. Chevron then adopted a portfolio management solution and a common classification methodology. Chevron’s IT function has now gained credibility with its business leaders thanks to its ability to introduce and sustain change and validate the benefits. More from PCubed.
