Asset Guardian Solutions has been awarded a contract by Woodside to provide a programmable systems management tool set for management of critical software assets used to operate the Karratha Gas Plant, Pluto onshore and offshore facilities, as well as six additional facilities.

Wintershall has joined as sponsor of the Badger Explorer autonomous drilling system. Other sponsors are Chevron, ExxonMobil and Statoil.

Neste Oil has extended CGI’s IT infrastructure management contract for two additional years. Statoil is likewise extending its service desk contract with CGI through 2016 with an optional one year extension.

Emerson Process Management has received a $5.8 million order for ultrasonic gas leaks monitoring systems for deployment at various Australian LNG plants. Emerson also records a $33 million contract from Statoil for upgraded safety/automation systems on the North Sea Visund platform.

Entero Corp.’s ‘Mosaic’ reserves and evaluation system has been selected by a ‘leading North American E&P company.’

OMV E&P Middle East and Caspian unit has deployed Elsevier’s Geofacets.

Norwegian engineering contractor Apply Sørco has selected IFS Applications to ‘standardize and integrate its business applications.’ IFS was also selected by Sevan Drilling.

PTTEP has selected ISS Group to supply a production data management system on its Bongkot development. The $2.8 million deal includes BabelFish products and support services.

Mechdyne Corporation has licensed the CAVE2 hybrid reality environment developed by the Electronic Visualization Laboratory of the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Sure Energy has migrated to an e-invoicing environment with an ‘APNexus’ solution from Pandell Technology and Cortex Business Solutions.

Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne has teamed with Kelvin Top-Set to combine the latter’s incident investigation skills with its engineering expertise.

Oceaneering International has received $40 million worth of contracts from Transocean to provide three subsea blowout preventer control systems.

Petrofac’s engineering and consulting services and Doris Engineering of Houston have been awarded a project management contract by Pemex for technical assistance and supervision of the the deepwater Lakach project.

Jacobs Engineering has been selected by Shell Australia for its Clyde terminal conversion project in Sydney, Australia.

Technip has received a five-year contract from BP Angola for engineering work on Greater Plutonio area FPSOs.
