Two developments this month on the upstream asset management and decision support front as Portfolio Decisions and Caesar Systems form one strategic alliance while Visage Information Solutions has teamed with Rose & Associates. The first alliance sees the combination of Caesar’s PetroVR project simulator Portfolio’s ‘Perspectives portfolio management application. The other hook-up combines Visage’s big data analytics with Rose’s industry risk assessment methodologies. Rose will leverage Visage’s toolset in its training and consulting engagements and is to ‘heighten the role’ of Visage in its risk analysis. More from Visage and Rose.
