Valerus teams with Enbase on Command performance monitor

New performance monitoring and predictive analytics for surface facilities.

Houston based Valerus, a provider of oil and gas handling solutions, has announced new a performance monitoring and predictive analytics toolset for surface facilities. Valerus Command is already in-service on the company’s contract compression fleet and operated facilities. Command is claimed to represent a ‘step change’ from traditional scada and monitoring systems, combining remote monitoring and analytics, enterprise asset management (EAM), standard operating procedures and technical expertise.

Pete Lane, Valerus CEO said, ‘Command will help us deliver the best service to our customers, leveraging our existing compression, production and processing expertise to drive performance improvements from the wellhead to the pipeline. We believe that this is the most comprehensive monitoring and analytics system available for surface facilities.’

Valerus partnered with Enbase Energy Technology to develop the performance monitoring and analytics toolset. This collects real time data into the Valerus EAM system and generates work orders which are routed to service technicians. Activity is managed from a new command center in Houston.
