Fugro expressed ‘surprise’ to find itself on the Center for Financial Research & Analysis’ ‘risk list.’ The company is ‘unaware of any reason why Fugro would be put on such a list.’

The International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce has concluded that AspenTech acted lawfully in terminating the reseller agreement with AspenTech Middle East (now ATME). ATME is now liable to pay damages of approximately $25 million in damages, interest and costs.

Denver-based equity firm Excellere Partners has expanded its investment portfolio through an investment in Integrated Petroleum Technologies.

FMC Technologies has signed a definitive acquisition agreement to acquire Pure Energy Services for C$11.00 per share in cash, or approx. C$282 million (US$285 million).

GE has acquired Norwegian Presens, a provider of pressure, temperature and flow measurement solutions. GE is also to acquire Naxys, a Bergen, Norway-based provider of subsea leak detection and condition monitoring sensors.

HII Technologies has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire Dallas-based oilfield service company AES.

New Tech Global has acquired Carr Environmental Group, an environmental consulting firm specializing in compliance for the oil and gas industry.

Quest Integrity Group has acquired New Zealand-based Digital Insight, a specialist in remote digital video inspection.

Tetra Technologies has completed its acquisition of well test specialist Greywolf Production Systems for $55.5 million cash.

Westward Partners has acquired a majority interest in DLM Oilfield Enterprises. Generational Equity advised DLM on the transaction.

Ikon Science has acquired Australian JRS Petroleum Research, developer of integrated software for image log analysis and geomechanics. JRS’ software will form a RokDoc geomechanics module.

Statoil Technology Invest is to exit ShareCat. STI, along with ProVenture and Investinor are to take part in a 21 million NOK share issue by HPC specialist Numascale.

Technip has finalized its € 225 million acquisition of Stone & Webster process technologies.

FEI has acquired Visualization Sciences Group (VSG) for €44.8 million.
