Ortec advises Shell on supply chain optimization

Deal consecrates 25 year long collaboration.

Shell Global Solutions has signed with Ortec Consulting of Gouda, The Netherlands for worldwide collaboration on resource optimization and consulting services. The deal addresses supply chain optimization and ‘strategic decision making’ in both up and downstream engineering including planning and scheduling, production capacity optimization, spare parts management, and cost estimating. The agreement consecrates a 25 year long history of collaboration between the companies. CEO Lambert van der Bruggen said that Ortec would be supporting Shell’s decision-making with ‘modeling and fact-based consultancy services.’ Other Ortec clients include BP, ExxonMobil, Q8 and Repsol.
