Fugro, Bentley Systems, Geoforce, ENGlobal, FMC Technologies, GroundMetrics, Viking Oil Tools, Pansoft, RSI, Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants, Wood Group.

Fugro has sold its stake in Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMG) for some NOK 444.4 million (€60 million).

Bentley Systems has acquired provider of asset performance management software solutions, Ontario-based Ivara Corporation.

Geoforce has acquired Sypes Canyon communications.

ENGlobal has contracted Simmons & Co. as financial advisor to explore strategic alternatives for its long-term future. These could include raising capital, a sale or merger.

FMC Technologies has completed the acquisition of Pure Energy Services for approx C$282 million ($285 million).

GroundMetrics has raised $1.2 million financing to develop its electric field sensing technology. The company also recently received a Phase I SBIR grant from the Department of Energy to conduct research into carbon capture and storage applications.

Viking Oil Tools has been formed with a ‘significant’ equity investment from NGP Energy Technology Partners.

Pansoft has gone private in a merger with Timesway Group and Genius choice capital. Shareholders will receive cash payments of $4.15 per share.

RSI has raised £3.2 million and obtained shareholder approval for issuance of warrants which could raise a further £2.6 million within the next two years.

Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants has signed an agreement to acquire Suporte Consultoria e Projetos, a Brazilian pipeline and structural engineering company based in Rio de Janeiro.

Wood Group is to acquire maintenance, installation and fabrication service provider Mitchell’s Oil Field Service for an initial consideration of $135 million plus future ‘earn out’ payments.
