The Energy Development Unit of the UK government has announced a new web-enabled licensing system to go live later this year. ‘PEARS,’ the petroleum e-licensing assignments and relinquishments system will let license holders manage offshore licenses online including operator approvals, equity interest changes and relinquishments.
