Qatargas is deploying ‘FRX-1’ radio repeaters from UK-based Fern Communications. The system has solved a created during loading operations as tankers were blocking line of sight communications. Oil and gas communications service provider RigNet has awarded contracts to Intelsat for new satellite capacity. The service hike targets the middle east, the gulf of Mexico and other locations.
