Aberdeen-based Aupec has initiated a Subsurface Applications Benchmark (SAB) study to review tools, data and support models in current use around the global subsurface community. Companies of all sizes are invited to take part. The report will compare G&G applications toolkits across E&P peer companies and identify the most popular tools and usages. The SAB aims to help companies seeking to rationalize their application portfolio and/or validate their existing systems, support and workflows spanning regional exploration to production monitoring. The ‘light touch’ study is sponsored by a large global upstream player and is backed by technical support of New Digital Business. More on the survey from www.oilit.com/links/1106_22.
