Fluor, Azima team on predictive maintenance

Watchman O&M analytics to support under resourced projects in developing nations.

Fluor Corp. is to team with Azima DLI on a ‘comprehensive’ solution for predictive maintenance. The solution targets, inter alia, the oil, gas and petrochemicals verticals with focus on emerging economies where operations and maintenance (O&M) needs have been identified. Fluor is to contribute O&M resources and expertise including site-based data collection, analysis and corrective action planning. Azima DLI is to provide its ‘Watchman’ Reliability Portal analysis software and instrumentation.

Kirk Grimes, president of Fluor’s Global Services Business Group said, ‘Fluor and Azima will share remote analysis and planning responsibilities based on geography, size of the project and applicable execution capabilities. We expect the results to meet client needs for improved reliability and maintenance.’

Randy Johnson, VP sales and marketing with Azima added, ‘Our software and data collectors are designed to perform under harsh conditions and to ensure that programs deliver on the promise of machine reliability and uptime.’ More from www.oilit.com/links/1104_8 (Azima) and www.oilit.com/links/1104_16 (Flour).
