E-business solution providers Amalto, Ariba and Modulo move toolsets to the cloud.

Amalto has announced the Amalto e-Business Cloud for trading partner collaboration, a business to business (B2B) electronic document exchange solution. The transactional platform offers multiple connectivity solutions for cost-effective exchange of invoices, field tickets, purchase orders, service requests and RFQs. CEO Jean-Pierre Foehn said, ‘Our new e-transaction platform leverages leading-edge technologies and our experience in deploying B2B projects for customers like Chevron, GE Oil and Gas, Total and Alstom Grid (formerly Areva T&D).’ More from www.amalto.com.

Enterprise governance, risk and compliance (GRC) specialist Modulo is now offering its Risk Manager GRC package from the cloud. Modulo president and CEO Alvaro Lima said, ‘The new release offers compliance cross-referencing and vendor risk management and adds support for the iPhone and mobile device collectors to the industry’s first open source GRC data collection platform.’ Modulo has also released an eBook titled ‘ISO 27001 and 27002: A Practical View’ to help adoption and certification with ISO, SOX and HIPPA standards. EU gas infrastructure provider Gasunie is moving its trading and spend management to the Ariba Commerce Cloud. Gasunie operates one of the largest networks of high pressure gas pipeline grids in Europe and is seeking to reduce costs with through e-commerce. The agreement covers Ariba’s Spend Visibility, Procure-to-Pay, Sourcing and Contract Management solutions. Ariba’s Commerce Cloud is used by more than 340,000 companies around the world.
