Teradata has entered the GIS market with a combo of a Teradata database appliance running and GeoServer, a suite of open source geospatial and visualization applications. The solution offers high performance access and in-database analytical processing of location and business data. The solution is supported by OpenGeo, a specialist provider of open source geospatial solutions.
