Petris has announced its ‘Operations Management Suite,’ (OMS) an integrated data management solution for drilling, production and field asset management. OMS supports lifecycle oil and gas asset management - from acquisition through, drilling, production and divestiture. The common environment for master well data management comprises components for asset and equipment management, AFE workflows, drilling and completions operations and reporting, production data management and materials management.
OMS is built atop of a centralized Microsoft SQL-Server database, the PetrisWINDS Operations Data Model (PODM). PODM is an extension of the industry standard PPDM data model. OMS has support for multiple languages, different currencies and units of measurements. OMS was developed on the Microsoft .NET platform. More in next month’s Oil IT Journal and from www.petris.com.
