National Oilwell Varco has named Hege Kverneland Corporate VP and CTO in replacement of Bob Bloom who is retiring. .

Pashupati Sah is to head-up Calsep’s new location in Kuala Lumpur.

Object Reservoir has teamed with DeGolyer and MacNaughton on ‘practical prescriptions’ for exploration of unconventional resources such as the Haynesville and Marcellus Shales. Object Reservoir’s unconventional Collaborative Exploitation Projects start this year.

Schlumberger has announced ‘Ocean for Academia’ in collaboration with Rice, Stanford, Texas A&M and Unicamp (Brazil) universities. The project will develop new technology based on its proprietary Ocean/Petrel data platform.
