3DGeo has developed a high-end imaging application using Anisotropic Reverse Time Migration (RTM) to image complex structures such sub salt plays.

Beicip-Franlab’s new CondorFlow 1.5 release integrates the geological model into the fluid flow history match workflow. The new release provides geostatistical and upscaling algorithms and links to third party tools such as Petrel, GoCad and Eclipse.

Ikon Science has released RokDoc V5.3 with a new pore pressure calculator, interactive VSP interpretation and EM modeling. ChronoSeis, the 3D/4D reservoir characterization module now has direct access to the RokDoc database enabling well data, cross-plot polygons and rock physics models created in RokDoc to be available in ChronoSeis models. ChronoSeis also features a new interactive stochastic inversion module.

Neuralog has just released NeuraLaser, a continuous color laser printer for well logs. The high quality printer offers speeds of up to 18 cm/s, automated paper handling and high capacity consumables. NeuraLaser was developed through a partnership with Lexmark.

The latest 16.5 Release of Petrosys’ mapping package includes a plug-in for Schlumberger’s Petrel, direct access to GoCad ‘tri-surf’ and ZGF data, spatial indexes for PPDM data and an interactive georeferencing tool.

Laser scan specialist Quantapoint unveiled QuantaCAD 8.0 at this month’s Offshore Technology Conference in Houston. Enhancements include improved memory management, fast clash analysis of laser and CAD models and graphical views that can be exported and saved as JPG or TIFF images.
