Infield announces new map interface to global upstream datasets

‘EnergyGateway’ web mapping system exposes offshore energy database, new reports announced.

At the Offshore Technology Conference this month, UK-based energy analysts, Infield Systems launched ‘Energy-Gateway,’ an online offshore projects mapping system. EnergyGateway covers operational and future worldwide developments using information from Infield’s Offshore Energy Database (OED). The OED holds details on fields, fixed and floating production systems, subsea equipment, pipelines and more.

Reports

Infield also launched several new market reports including, Floating Production, Offshore Pipelines & Control Lines, and the Global Perspective Market Update. The latter forecasts a total global spend of $ 320 billion for next five years, a 50% hike on the previous five years. EnergyGateway was developed with ESRI’s Web ADF Common API which provides a somewhat clunky web mapping system.
