Intertek’s Caleb Brett unit has acquired hydrocarbon accounting specialists Smith Rea Energy Ltd. (SRE). SRE provides hydrocarbon allocation and production reporting consultancy services to international oil and gas companies and develops fiscal accounting models and commercial agreements for complex production and allocation systems.

Software
Other SRE services include the development and auditing of commercial and contractual agreements, the development and implementation of allocation, simulation and modeling software, specialist allocation and metering consultancy services and a fully outsourced operational management service.
