Calgary-base WellPoint Systems has signed a partnership agreement with IDEACA Knowledge Services (also of Calgary) to extend the reach of WellPoint’s Microsoft Dynamics-based ERP system (OITJ January 2005). The deal covers sales and implementation of WellPoint’s modular platform to the Canadian oil, gas and mining industries.
Harrill
WellPoint director Ian Harrill said, ‘Our common focus on the energy industry is allowing us to collaborate on something new—a platform upon which companies will create industry-centric business processes that improve operational efficiency, promote collaboration and information sharing.’ IDEACA will help with WellPoint’s sales and implementation.
Blackmount
WellPoint also announced that it has issued 1,382,981 common shares to Blackmont Capital Inc. in consideration of a $525,000U fee relating to financing of Bolo acquisition. (OITJ September 07).
