Resolve GeoSciences has announced representative agreements with Houston-based processing boutiques SeisLink and Texseis.

Resolute Natural Resources has joined the OFS Portal community. Resolute is a brown-field development with a a primary area of activity in the Paradox Basin of south eastern Utah.

Predictive analytics specialist SmartSignal has appointed Stacey Kacek as VP product development. Kacek hails from Motorola.

Craig Tamlin has been named CEO of SpectrumData replacing Guy Holmes who is now Director of oil and gas operations. Tamlin was previously country manager for tape specialist Quantum.

Pentti Heikkinen has steped down as President and CEO of TietoEnator following disappointing financial results. The TietoEnator board has started a search for a replacement. Meanwhile Åke Plyhm is interim CEO.

George Mathewson is now non-executive chairman of Wood Mackenzie. Stephen Halliday has been named CEO as Paul Gregory moves to non-executive deputy chairman.

Autodesk is to donate its coordinate system and map projection technology, acquired from Mentor Software, to the geospatial open source community.
