United Arab Emirates-based Netways has automated the requisition process for the Lamnalco Group of Companies. Lamnalco provide marine support services to oil and gas terminals and ports worldwide. The business process automation project leverages Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains), Captaris Workflow and Microsoft Visual Studio.
Seamless
A state of the art requisition model is ‘seamlessly integrated’ with GreatPlains and now allows Lamnalco to initiate requisitions, approve them according to company rules, monitor inventory, automate RFQs and create purchase orders from Microsoft Dynamics GP.
Captaris
Captaris business process workflow is applicable to any repetitive activity. Tasks are automatically assigned and delivered to individuals or groups. Tasks remain in the task lists until they are completed. Escalation rules allow unfinished tasks to be re-assigned to managers or overflow teams.
