Trade Ranger’s ‘Universal Environment’

Trade Ranger is rebranding its e-commerce portal, adding business intelligence functionality.

As revealed in Oil IT Journal (Vol. 9 N° 2), Trade-Ranger, the buy-side e-marketplace for the petroleum industry is to launch the Trade Ranger Universal Environment (TRUE)—a ‘unified collaboration framework’ for all its applications. TRUE offers single-source access to existing Trade-Ranger applications and extends its current offering with Business Intelligence and Event Management modules.

Business intelligence

TRUE Business Intelligence offers buyers and suppliers summary reports of their organization’s activity with trading partners while Event Management tracks document status and transaction history. Members can access the new functionality on go2true.com. Trade-Ranger shareholders include ConocoPhillips, Shell, Statoil, Total, Unocal, Occidental and BP.
