Linux-based Petrosys maps Kingdom data

A new release of the mapping package integrates SMT—and now runs on four computer platforms.

The latest release of Petrosys’ mapping software now runs on Linux, includes a direct connection to SMT’s Kingdom suite and an upgraded Petrosys— SeisWorks import option.

120 fixes

Petrosys’ latest release contains 120 bug fixes and 77 enhancements. The package now runs on four platforms— Solaris, IRIX, RedHat Linux and Microsoft Windows.

ODBC

An Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) connection to SMT’s Kingdom suite allows for the import of interpreted seismic and well data to Petrosys, direct display of well and seismic data, gridding of well and interpreted seismic data and transparent query and reporting of data in SMT.
