OFS Portal, the Houston-based grouping of upstream oil and gas suppliers and service companies has announced the successful implementation of ChanneLinx software. This provides validated e-catalog content to customers in standard output formats, such as those used by Requisite, Ariba, and Commerce One.

OFS Portal CEO William Le Sage said, “We selected ChanneLinx because of the seamless manner in which we were able to integrate its functionality into our existing framework. This will bring additional flexibility to our offering, enabling us to meet the needs of both customers and suppliers, and will accelerate OFS Portal’s plans to deliver e-catalog content to the upstream oil and gas industry.”
API/PIDEX
ChanneLinx’s solution is compatible with OFS Portal’s API/PIDEX-compliant product classification system and will allow OFS Portal members to manage catalog content online. Oil company buyers can browse customer-specific sections of the overall catalog in a secure manner in order to search content and approve contract pricing.
