The POSC Board has elected Nico de Rooij (Shell) as Chairman, replacing John Hanten (Chevron). Jim Honefenger (GeoNet) is Vice-Chairman, replacing joint Vice-Chairs Nico deRooij and Bertrand du Castel (Schlumberger).

Trade-Ranger has appointed Claire Farley as CEO. Farley formerly held high-level positions within Texaco and most recently was CEO of Intelligent Diagnostics, Inc., a medical software developer. In 1998, Farley was named one of the top 50 women executives in the US.

Robert Archibald is the new chair of UK data repository Common Data Access, replacing Phil Challis. Archibald is currently Manager of Subsurface Software Support and Data Management at Shell Exploration & Production in Aberdeen.
