Management buys DPTS from Lason

DPTS’ management has bought the company from parent group Lason International. A joint venture deal with the KPS Group has been struck.

The management of DPTS are pleased to announce that they have acquired DPTS from troubled Lason International Inc. Lason International filed for Chapter 11 protection earlier this month. DPTS’ management team have participated in the purchase and will be continuing in their current roles.

MD Alan Jepson said, “We have funding available to enable us to develop our successful data management software and services. We look forward to maintaining the same high quality service that we provide to all our customers”.

KP Seismic

In a separate deal, DPTS has joined forces with Calgary-based KPS Group (formally KP Seismic) to provide data management services and solutions in EAME region. Services include data cataloging, capture, digitizing, databasing and management services, and proprietary software products. More from www.dpts.co.uk.
