Coastal buys in to Powerhouse (March 1999)

Coastal Oil & Gas has awarded GeoQuest a five-year, $2.9 million, contract from for PowerHouse E&P data management services and Finder software.

GeoQuest will team with Geco-Prakla, a division of Schlumberger, and Data Logic Services, a division of IHS Energy Group, to provide E&P data management in support of Coastal's U.S. and international operations. The agreement provides for the outsoutced management of Coastal's seismic, well and log data through the GeoQuest Data Management center (DMC) in Houston.

Makes sense
