GeoQuest signs agreement to sell !XL (September 1996)

Schlumberger subsidiary GeoQuest announced in early September that it had signed a joint marketing agreement with Mercury International Technology (MIT) to sell and distribute woridwide MIT's iXL, a 2D, 3D and 4D seismic processing system for both land and marine seismics.

iXL offers fully integrated survey design and processing, a platform independent interface and supports all major geometry and data formats. It features a variety of processing modules such as demultiplex, final migration and seismic inversion to support its customers' needs.
