Accenture, Hytracc, Geokinetics, Geospatial Corp., Silver Lake Partners, Quorum Business Solutions, SNC-Lavalin, Kentz, TUV SUD, RCI Consultants, Veeder-Root, FuelQuest.

Accenture has acquired Hytracc Consulting, a provider of services around Tieto’s Energy Components hydrocarbon accounting solution. The 100 strong team will integrate Accenture’s upstream production management solutions unit.

Geokinetics has acquired CGG’s North American land seismic contract acquisition business (excluding its land multi-client and monitoring businesses) in exchange for a minority equity stake in Geokinetics.

Geospatial Corporation has acquired ShaleNavigator, a provider of shale oil and gas information on the Marcellus and Utica shale plays. ShaleNavigator founder Edward Camp is to join Geospatial as team lead of the new ShaleNavigator unit.

Silver Lake Partners and Silver Lake Kraftwerk are to acquire Quorum Business Solutions from funds managed by The Carlyle Group’s buyout team and Riverstone Holdings. Key Quorum management will also participate in the new ownership.

SNC-Lavalin Group has completed its acquisition of oil and gas engineering and construction specialist Kentz Corp. The acquisition creates a 20,000 strong group of project experts in the upstream, LNG, shale and SAGD sectors.

TÜV SÜD has acquired Houston-based RCI Consultants, expanding its services to the oil and gas vertical.

Veeder-Root has acquired fueling software as a service provider FuelQuest. The unit will be combined with Veeder-Root’s Insite360 Fuel business to provide an end-to-end solution ‘from rack to nozzle.’
