Landmark to provide Energy XXI’s IT

Bermuda-based E&P company to outsource upstream information management to Halliburton unit.

Landmark, (which has now dropped the ‘Graphics’ to become a ‘brand of the Halliburton Energy Services Group) has been awarded a two-year contract by Bermuda-based E&P company Energy XXI to provide ‘total upstream information technology outsourcing, hosting and consulting services’. The contract includes data loading, application hosting, data management, disaster recovery, geophysical, geological and production optimization software, field development consulting services and onsite IT services

Meikle

Landmark VP Doug Meikle said, ‘This contract demonstrates the value of Landmark’s IT outsourcing, data management and our hosted environment.’

Schiller

Energy XXI chairman John Schiller added, ‘By outsourcing these services to Landmark, we can focus on our core business without having to support local infrastructure, data management and IT staff.’
